🌍 Between Two Homes: The Hidden Costs of Cross-Border Living
Living in Two Countries Isn’t Just a Lifestyle—It’s a Balancing Act
Hey friends,
Not everyone will get this—but if you’ve ever lived across borders, held two SIM cards in your phone, or juggled time zones with loved ones, you already know:
Living in two countries isn’t just romantic. It’s complicated.
I’ve spent years navigating life between two homes. And while I’m grateful for the adventure, I also know the quiet challenges it brings:
Managing finances across currencies and banking systems
Feeling like a local in both places—but never fully at home in either
Filing taxes in more than one country (don’t get me started)
Explaining to others that “home” isn’t a single pin on the map
This lifestyle comes with hidden emotional and logistical costs—ones that rarely get talked about.
And that’s why I’m building something for people like us.
I’m working on tools that simplify the financial and emotional friction of living across borders.
Not just apps and spreadsheets, but something more human:
A sense of belonging, clarity, and control when your life doesn’t fit in one country—or one wallet.
If this resonates with you, I’d love to hear from you.
What’s been the hardest part of your cross-border life?
What would make it easier?
Let’s build something that helps us feel less split, and more supported.
Until next time,
Jason
